Pocket 3 or Pocket 4?+
Pocket 4 (₹higher) brings 14 stops of dynamic range, 4K/240 slow-motion, 107 GB built-in storage, OsmoAudio 4-channel, 35% lighter body, and ActiveTrack 7.0. Pocket 3 still excellent value if you don't need those upgrades — particularly for run-and-gun vlogging. Image quality remains very close in good light.
Standard Combo vs Creator Combo — what's in each?+
Standard Combo: camera, USB-C cable, gimbal clamp, wrist strap, threaded handle, carry pouch. Creator Combo adds the wide-angle lens, DJI Mic 2 transmitter, fill light, mini tripod, and carry bag. Standard is better value if you already own a DJI Mic.
Does it have built-in storage?+
No. Pocket 3 uses microSD only — supports up to 1 TB, UHS-I V30 minimum recommended for 4K/120 capture. Pocket 4 added 107 GB built-in storage. Plan to budget for a fast microSD card.
Is the wide-angle lens necessary?+
Depends. The standard 20mm-equivalent lens is good for most vlogging at arm's length. The wide-angle accessory shifts to roughly 15mm equivalent — useful for handheld vlogs where the person doesn't fit comfortably in frame, or for landscape b-roll. If you mostly shoot at arm's length, skip it.
Warranty and after-sales support+
1-year DJI manufacturer warranty, 7-day replacement on manufacturing defects, and optional AMC for accidental damage. All repairs at our in-house facility in Sector 66 Gurgaon.
