Built for the
missions that matter.
DJI's most capable enterprise platform. 59 minutes of flight time carrying the H30T thermal/zoom payload — long enough for full corridor inspections in a single flight. 6 kg payload capacity with seven mounting points means you can run multiple sensors simultaneously. Rotating LiDAR + mmWave radar give power-line-level obstacle sensing — the M400 sees power lines at 50 metres, something no consumer drone comes close to matching.
59-minute
flight time.
Up to 59 minutes per battery in still air carrying the H30T payload, or 53 minutes hovering. Compared to the M350's 55 minutes and M300's 40 minutes, the M400 is a meaningful step forward — long enough for full powerline corridor sweeps, large mapping missions, or extended SAR grids without battery swaps. The TB100 battery system supports hot-swapping for continuous multi-mission operation, and the BS100 station charges three TB100 batteries in 45 minutes (220V Fast Charge).
Power-line
level sensing.
The M400 combines four sensing systems: omnidirectional binocular vision, horizontal rotating LiDAR (520,000 points/second), upper LiDAR, and six-direction mmWave radar. The mmWave radar specifically detects 12mm steel-core aluminium powerlines at 36 metres and 21.6mm wires at 50 metres — distances at which vision-based systems fail completely. For utility inspection teams, this is the difference between a deployable platform and a hangar queen.
Seven mounts.
Five DJI payloads.
Compatible with Zenmuse L3, H30, H30T, L2, and P1 — DJI's full enterprise payload catalogue. Maximum payload weight is 6 kg via the third gimbal connector with screw-lock fastening, or 1.4 kg per single gimbal connector. Plus seven mounting points means you can run thermal + zoom + spotlight + speaker simultaneously — public safety teams can illuminate, broadcast, search, and inspect in one mission. Third-party payloads via DJI Payload SDK extend this further.
40 km. IP55.
Sea-state ready.
DJI O4 Enterprise Enhanced video transmission delivers 40 km range FCC (20 km CE/SRRC/MIC) — enough for over-horizon work in remote areas. Airborne Relay Video Transmission lets the M400 act as a transmission relay for other DJI Enterprise drones, extending reach in mountainous terrain. IP55 ingress protection plus marine-ready firmware support ship-based take-off and landing — a first in this class.

Need to know.
Should I upgrade from M350 to M400? +
Depends on your missions. If you're already at the limits of M350 — flight time, payload weight, multi-sensor missions — yes, the M400 removes those constraints. The 59-minute flight time, 6 kg payload, seven mounts, and rotating LiDAR are real operational advantages. If your missions are well within M350 capability and budget is tight, the M350 remains an excellent platform. The M400 is the upgrade for teams hitting the ceiling on the M350, not a wholesale replacement.
What payloads does the M400 support? +
Native compatibility with five DJI gimbal cameras: Zenmuse L3 (LiDAR, latest gen), H30 (multi-sensor), H30T (multi-sensor + thermal), L2 (LiDAR), and P1 (full-frame photogrammetry). Plus AL1 Spotlight, AS1 Speaker, and any third-party payload built on the DJI Payload SDK. Total payload capacity is 6 kg via the screw-lock third gimbal connector. The seven-mount architecture lets you run multiple payloads simultaneously.
How does the rotating LiDAR work? +
The horizontal rotating LiDAR module on the M400 spins continuously, generating 520,000 points per second across a 360° horizontal field of view. This means the aircraft has real-time 3D awareness of its surroundings in every direction at once, not just the camera's frame. For powerline inspection specifically, the LiDAR + mmWave radar combination detects steel-core aluminium wires at 35-50 metres distance — far enough to maintain operational speed while staying safe near energised lines.
Is the M400 DGCA-compliant? +
The M400 takes off at approximately 9.74 kg with batteries — DGCA Medium class (2 kg to 25 kg). This requires Digital Sky registration with a UIN, an RPC for the operator, and operations only in approved zones. The M400 is sold to authorised entities (defence, R&D, government, education, licensed commercial operators) per Indian regulation. Our team handles the full registration and import documentation process on every order.
Warranty and after-sales support +
1-year DJI manufacturer warranty on aircraft and accessories. The M400 is sold as a refurbished unit from Jetayu with 21-step multi-point inspection, 7-day replacement on defects, and Jetayu Certified status. DJI Care Enterprise extensions available for crash and water damage. All servicing at our in-house facility in Sector 66 Gurgaon.
